BalkanViatorBalkanViator is a newly founded website which serves as a search engine for over 20.000 officially registered bus routes, 1000 taxi services, and information on carpooling in the Balkan region. The site is currently translated into seven different languages with plans to expand to nine.

Its team members, who interestingly come from three different continents and among them founding members of AmSECC, have spent seven months working on the site before launching it on July 5th. Their goal is for travelers to spend as little time as possible searching for information and save as much money while traveling. The site has been active just under two months and has already been supported by two festivals, Dokufest in Prizren and Beerfest in Belgrade. A popular Balkan travel website, Balkanology.com, has featured a blog about the site and only a few days ago the team attended the “Beogradska hronika” daily show as a special guest on Radio Television Serbia.
